Farmers Market

Rainbow Spotting @ The Farmers Market – Northridge

Good afternoon, everyone! Do you get excited about farmers market like I do? 😀

The farmers market is a great place to find the “rainbow.” I always get so flustered because there are so many fresh and colorful produce to choose from. Should I get the strawberries or the blackberries? Or maybe both? Or should I get the beets or the green beans? Perhaps  both? Then I find myself convincing myself not to get anything because I am incapable of deciding. Sigh.

However, I didn’t want to leave empty-handed; so I got organic yerbamate tea at Erva. The employees/owners were really friendly and allowed me to try all of their flavors. I decided to choose their yerbamate tea with lemon/hibiscus. I figured it be a great step in cleansing my organs from the greasy food I ate in the past weekend.

  5. Visiting farmer’s markets is one of my favorite things to do. I find so much inspiration in the vibrant and delicious locally grown products. LA seems like an awesome place to find foodie inspiration. Would love to visit some time. Thanks for sharing!
