Make White rice Perfectly
Rinse the Rice
Rinse first, 1 cup long-grain white rice until the water is clear. You can wash the rice in a bowl or pot with several drops of cold water.
Carefully discard the water while washing the rice. Washing the rice before cooking is key, if you don’t wash the rice it can be sticky.
With half a teaspoon of salt, you can wash the rice.
Remember the Water Ratio
For most types of rice, you will always use a ratio of 2 cups of water with 1 cup of rice, which you can scale up or down.
Bring the water to a Boil
Give all a mild stir. Bring to a boil, then cover the pot with a strong split and lower the heat, directing for the lowest possible flame.
Cook the rice for 18 minutes not opening the lid pot.
Check at 18 Minutes
For long-grain rice, I always prefer 18 minutes. If it is liquid, then after 18 minutes heat it for another 3 or 4 minutes.
Leave it Alone
Turn off the heat, replace the pan and let rest for a few minutes in the moist saucepan.

Do you boil water before adding rice?
Once you bring your water to a boil, and season it with salt and possibly a little butter. You add your rice and let the water come back to a boil.
Then you quickly reduce the heat, cover the pot, and put the water and rice on a low flame, which basically means just below the boiling point.
How do you make rice not sticky and fluffy?
Rinse your rice quickly to remove excess starch, this will help prevent it from sticking. Use 2 cups water to 1 cup white rice ratio.
When you first add rice, give a quick star one by one and then stir. Rice can release exciting starch and make it sticky.
